  Polyaluminum chloride(PAC)is an inorganic polymeric flocculant,also known as a water purification agent.Its general chemical formula is[Al₂(OH)₂nCl₆-n]m,where m<10 and n<5.This series of products is mainly used for drinking water purification and the treatment of various industrial and domestic wastewater.It is widely used in water supply,oil refining,petroleum extraction,pharmaceuticals,papermaking,printing and dyeing,textiles,and other industries.Users can choose different varieties according to different water qualities.
Main Features
  This series of products dissolves very easily and has a wide operating pH range.
  It produces large flocculent particles with fast settling speed.
  It has a high rate of removing heavy metal ions,rapid decolorization and deodorization,strong demulsification ability for oily wastewater,simple operation,and convenient use.It is well-compatible with other organic flocculants.
Instructions for Use
  When using,a small-scale test should be conducted first based on the water quality to determine the optimal point for good water purification effect and low dosage.The solution should be prepared and used immediately.
  For non-drinking water,the dosage should be determined according to the actual situation.When using the solid form,first dissolve it in water to prepare a 10-25%solution.When dissolving,add water slowly while continuously stirring.
Packaging,Transportation,and Storage
  Solid polyaluminum chloride is packaged in woven plastic bags or composite plastic woven bags lined with polyethylene plastic bags.Liquid products are packaged in polyethylene plastic drums or transported in acid-resistant storage tanks.
  During transportation,polyaluminum chloride should be protected from rain and moisture,and contamination by toxic substances should be avoided.
  Polyaluminum chloride should be stored in a cool,dry place,protected from rain and moisture.The shelf life is one year for the solid form and six months for the liquid form.

  Polyaluminum chloride(PAC)is a water-soluble inorganic polymer water purification material intermediate between aluminum chloride(AlCl3)and aluminum hydroxide(Al(OH)3).Its general chemical formula is[Al2(OH)nCl6-n]m,where m represents the degree of polymerization and n indicates the neutrality of the product.This structure endows PAC with high charge,high molecular weight,and strong bridging adsorption properties.PAC mainly consists of aluminum ions,chloride ions,and various polynuclear complexes composed of aluminum and chlorine.Depending on the production process and raw materials,PAC can be white,yellow,brown,etc.,with each color corresponding to slightly different uses and properties.

  1.White Polyaluminum Chloride(PAC):Made from high-purity aluminum hydroxide powder and hydrochloric acid using advanced processes such as spray drying,it is considered the highest quality product.It is mainly used in fields with extremely high water quality requirements,such as paper sizing agents,sugar decolorizing and clarifying agents,pharmaceuticals,and precision casting.

  2.Yellow Polyaluminum Chloride(PAC):Widely used in wastewater and drinking water treatment.Its raw materials include calcium aluminate powder and hydrochloric acid,produced through plate and frame filtration or spray drying processes.

  3.Brownish-brown Polyaluminum Chloride(PAC):Its specific color is due to the addition of iron powder.It is mainly used in wastewater treatment and has excellent treatment effects.

  4.Liquid Polyaluminum Chloride(PAC liquid):Compared to solid PAC,the liquid form is easier to directly add and meter,making it particularly suitable for continuous automatic dosing equipment.
