Reverse Osmosis Antiscalant

　　Reverse osmosis antiscalant is a core consumable in reverse osmosis water treatment systems,extending membrane life by inhibiting inorganic salt crystallization and contaminant deposition.

　　Functions:

　　1.Complexing and solubilizing effect:

　　After dissolving in water,the reverse osmosis antiscalant ionizes,generating negatively charged molecular chains.These chains form water-soluble complexes or chelates with Ca2+,thereby increasing the solubility of inorganic salts and inhibiting scale formation.2.Lattice Distortion Effect:

　　Some functional groups in the reverse osmosis antiscalant molecule occupy certain positions on the inorganic salt crystal nuclei or microcrystals,hindering and disrupting the normal growth of inorganic salt crystals,slowing down the crystal growth rate,and thus reducing scale formation.

　　3.Electrostatic Repulsion Effect:

　　After dissolving in water,the reverse osmosis antiscalant adsorbs onto the inorganic salt microcrystals,increasing the repulsive force between particles,hindering their aggregation,and keeping them in a well-dispersed state,thereby preventing or reducing scale formation.

　　The dosage of reverse osmosis antiscalant varies depending on the manufacturer's formula and concentration.Consult the manufacturer before use.The dosage for imported reverse osmosis antiscalants is generally 3-5 ml.
